Our team uses materials you provide to adapt the model to your needs. We can also source and prepare suitable materials for your project, or combine both approaches. Your language, domain, intended use and licensing requirements determine the data strategy.
B:
Base-model selection
POLARIS selects the foundation model best suited to your project. Our team considers open-weight models from families such as Qwen, DeepSeek, Kimi, GLM, MiniMax, Llama, Mistral, Gemma, NVIDIA Nemotron and gpt-oss. We compare their performance in your language and domain. POLARIS also considers the available materials, licensing terms, the amount of context each model can process, hardware needs and operating costs.
POLARIS runs benchmarks based on agreed tasks to measure your model’s performance before adaptation. We repeat these tests after each training stage to identify improvements, regressions and tradeoffs. Our team adds domain-expert review where needed.
E:
Training infrastructure
Your materials, adaptation method and selected base model determine the computing resources needed for training. Our team can arrange suitable hardware in Serbia with Orion. We can also use other approved computing environments when needed.
operated_ on your requirements
A:
Operations
We start with your requirements for performance, response time, capacity, integration and operating cost. Our team turns these into an operating plan and coordinates the infrastructure with Orion.
B:
Facilities in Serbia
By default, POLARIS works with Orion to run your AI workloads on GPU and data center infrastructure in Serbia. With this setup, your data, model artifacts, backups, logs and operational metadata stay in Serbia.
C:
Inference
We prepare your specialized model(s) for controlled inference so they can respond to requests in the agreed environment. Our team plans deployment and capacity around your model, expected workloads and approved system interfaces.
D:
Data integration
Your application can use the model’s inference endpoint alongside databases, APIs and other controlled live sources. Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) lets the model use approved, current information from these sources in its responses without changing the model weights.
E:
Global alternatives
Sovereign infrastructure in Serbia is the default for your project. You can request other processing or deployment environments. For any alternative, we will obtain your explicit approval and document the conditions.

A:
Domain workflows
We start with your work, decisions and constraints. Our team identifies where a specialized model can help and where your team’s judgment is essential.
B:
Custom applications
POLARIS builds custom applications to fit your work. We can use a ready-made model, a provider’s API, a specialized open-weight model or a combination of these components.
C:
Existing systems
Your application can run as a standalone product or connect to approved data, interfaces and systems you already use. Our team designs it to meet your requirements for specialization, infrastructure and operations.

LexAndria by POLARIS
LexAndria is our product for legal professionals. It uses a large language model optimized for the Serbian language and further adapted to the Serbian legal domain. Processing takes place on GPU and data center infrastructure in Serbia.
sovereignty_ is embedded in the architecture
Our default mode is to run your AI workloads on GPU and data center infrastructure in Serbia and operated by Orion.
In our default setup, all computation specific to you occurs in Serbia. Your data, model artifacts, backups, logs and operational metadata stay there too. Sovereignty here refers to where the system runs and stores its working data. Of course, we do source initial base models and related dependencies from other jurisdictions.
You can request other processing or deployment environments for your project. Our team will document the locations, dependencies and operating conditions and obtain your explicit approval before proceeding.
AI engineering in your language and backyard
POLARIS adapts and operates language models to build applications around them. Our roots in Serbia and Europe give us a multilingual perspective on language and culture. We apply our expertise in frontier AI to your domain and business environment.
For example, our team fine-tuned an LLM model for the Serbian language and then adapted it further to Serbian law. A similar approach could suit your domain, depending on available materials, expertise, evaluation results and operating requirements.
We lead your project and work with Orion on infrastructure and operations where needed. LexAndria is our product for legal professionals and it demonstrates our approach in practice.
